The King of Spa 637 Posted February 12, 2010 BP Ford Abu Dhabi Team driver Khalid Al Qassimi became the first WRC driver to hit problems, nosing his Ford Focus RS WRC into a snow bank 16.7km from the start line. The car was undamaged, and after spectators had got him going again he rejoined - right in front of Kimi Raikkonen who was following him though. The Finn completed the stage hanging off the tail of Al Qassimi's car, in a time 56sec slower than Loeb's. "I think for more than half of the stage he was right in front and we couldn't see anything," said a deflated Raikkonen. "Not a good start, but what can you do? E poi non ? che guidi su una pista larga 20 metri L'importante ? non distruggere la macchina. Poi si vedr? alla fine cosa succeder?. A pelle Loeb ? il solito cannibale.
