Sono molto contento di Bruno.

 

Era il suo primo vero test con una F1. E' stato bravo ! Non ha danneggiato la monoposto con uscite di pista. Non ha avuto problemi tecnici di motore, meccanici, altro. Ha girato TANTISSIMO. 125 giri. Negli stin lunghi non era distantissimo da quelli di Vettel. Il suo miglior tempo ? identico a quello di Maldonado.

 

Penso che sia stata una giornata molto positiva e produttiva ! Domani potr? tentare la ricerca anche della performance. Sono curioso a riguardo.

 

 

Consideriamo che la Williams ? tutta da studiare. Ha anche un nuovo motore.

Objectives: Continued systems checks, set-up work and mileage for Bruno.

Mark Gillan, Chief Operations Engineer: I am very pleased with both Bruno's first day in the car and the team's performance today. We managed to finish the whole test programme without any issues, completing 125 laps in total. Bruno's feedback has been very precise and we now look forward to continuing to understand and optimise the car set-up during the final day of testing here in Jerez tomorrow.

 

Bruno Senna: It was a great day today. Although there is a lot of work to do outside the car as well as in it, it was very satisfying to finally get behind the wheel. We have had a very productive day and managed to cover all of the things we needed to. We found some interesting things out about the tyres in particular. I feel that there is a lot of potential in the FW34 and also in myself driving the car. The team has done a great job and I?m happy we have had a trouble-free day. I?m now looking forward to continuing our test programme tomorrow to learn more about the car.

 

The Williams F1 Team will be back on track tomorrow, Friday 10 February, with Bruno Senna continuing in the FW34 for the final day of the test.

Senna asks Williams for 'edgier' car in Barcelona

Bruno Senna described the Williams FW34 as 'very docile' in its current form.

 

Bruno Senna is hoping Williams can make the FW34 a little more edgy at the upcoming tests after immediately feeling at home in the new car on his first day at Jerez.

 

Senna took over the William's cockpit from Pastor Maldonado on Thursday and notched up an impressive 125 laps. His best lap time was only good enough for eighth, but he is confident the Williams has plenty of potential.

 

"Any car comes out [at the first test] with strong points or weak points," he said. "But it's a nice car to drive, it's very docile, so definitely if we can get it a bit more edgy, without going over the edge, then it's going to be a much faster car."

 

He said one positive of the car is its traction, which is an area Williams struggled with last year.

 

"The traction is a good surprise, it's nice and easy on the rear tyres," Senna added. "That's a big change from the car we had last year with poor traction. It's a different concept for the rear end of the car, I think we need to still explore that and make it stronger, so that it's one of the strong features of this car."

 

But he said he would not go chasing times until he arrives at the second test at the Circuit de Catalunya, F1's favoured testing venue and the home to the Spanish Grand Prix.

 

"Barcelona is much more relatable to every other track on the championship," Senna said. "This is a very perculiar track, a bit like Paul Ricard, there are a few tracks where you go and if you set up your car perfect for that track you go slow everywhere else. So we are focusing on learning about the car here and in Barcelona the set-up work will be more relevant and that is what we are aiming for."

Oggi Bruno ha testato soprattutto le dure in simulazione di gara. Ieri le medie e le morbide. Nessun problema tecnico grave.

S?O PAULO - Depois de completar seu segundo dia de testes, no fechamento do primeiro encontro de pr?-temporada das equipes de F?rmula 1 na pista de Jerez de la Frontera, Bruno Senna disse que o exaustivo trabalho desta semana foi facilitado pelas caracter?sticas do Williams-Renault FW34, o modelo 2012 da organiza??o comandada por Frank Williams. "O carro ? d?cil de pilotar", resumiu o brasileiro, que percorreu o total de 1.100 km - quase a dist?ncia de dois grandes pr?mios - no tra?ado espanhol.

 

Bruno deu 125 voltas na quinta-feira e repetiu o n?mero hoje, sem enfrentar praticamente qualquer contratempo t?cnico. "O carro ? superconfi?vel. Esses primeiros dias de testes na F?rmula 1 nunca foram f?ceis, mas n?o tivemos nenhuma quebra. Acho que fizemos tudo o que estava previsto e, como andamos bastante, conseguimos avan?ar na performance e deixar o carro mais r?pido. Para mim tamb?m foi importante toda essa quilometragem. Serviu para desenferrujar e melhorar a cada sa?da dos boxes", observou.

 

A melhor volta de Bruno - 1min20s132 - foi registrada no per?odo da manh?. No geral da sess?o, ele ficou a apenas 1s255 da Ferrari de Fernando Alonso, o mais veloz do dia. Hoje, al?m de trabalhar em diversas op??es de acerto, Bruno avaliou os compostos de pneus duros da Pirelli e realizou uma simula??o de corrida. "Eu j? havia treinado ontem com os macios e os m?dios. Acho que o carro mostrou um comportamento bastante homog?neo com as tr?s vers?es de compostos. Temos uma boa plataforma inicial", elogiou.

 

Bruno disse que ainda ? prematuro fazer uma avalia??o dos resultados da semana. "Ainda n?o d? para saber muito bem onde estamos, embora aparentemente todos estejam muito pr?ximos. Cada equipe tem seu pr?prio programa e entra na pista com quantidades diferentes de combust?vel, o que dificulta as an?lises. S? mesmo quando os pilotos fazem essa simula??o ? que a compara??o fica facilitada, mas s? a Williams deu essas s?ries longas de voltas."

 

De acordo com a programa??o da Williams, caber? a Bruno abrir a segunda bateria de ensaios coletivos no dia 21 em Barcelona. Mas, at? l?, os dias de descanso ser?o raros. Ele permanecer? na Espanha e domingo seguir? para Monteblanco, onde participar? de uma extensa sess?o de filmagens promocionais com dura??o prevista at? ? pr?xima sexta-feira.

Cazzarola ne ha fatti di km, in effetti questa si potrebbe quasi considerare la sua prima vera stagione in F1 con un team vero (con la HRT manco gli aveva fatti i test se non sbaglio).
