Coulthard ha avuto in 229 gp 27 incidenti dove per incidenti si intendono errori di guida che hanno portato al ritiro e collisioni. Coulthard quindi esce per questi motivi una volta ogni 8,4 gp. Hakkinen ne ha commessi 14 in 162 gare, cio? uno ogni 11,57 gare, non ? la stessa cosa. Per farti un confronto ? in media con Schumacher (1 ogni 11,85) e meglio di Lauda (18 su 171, 1 ogni 9,5) e Piquet (28 su 204, 1 ogni 7,28).
