2011 Provisional Calendar

Notice posted under Competitors' Bulletins on 11 January 2011 by Dan Collins

Initial dates for the 2011 HFO Championship season are announced

As usual, trying to fix a race calendar is about as easy as nailing jelly to a tree!

This year has been a particular challenge with events changing dates and organisers but HFO is please to announce that we now have 5 confirmed events with another 3 under discussion.

The provisional calendar looks like this:

Hockenheim 15th-17th April

Red Bull Ring (A1 Ring) 13th-15th May

Monza 3rd-5th June

Brands Hatch 1st-3rd July

Algarve 21st-23rd October

More dates will be added between Brands Hatch and the Algarve with the possibility of an end-of-season fly away race.

Official dates for the 2011 HFO Championship season are announced

At last we can publish the confirmed calendar for 2011!

After a long absence, we will be returning to the old A1 Ring, now renamed the Red Bull Ring. We are there following an invitation from Red Bull to be part of the official re-opening of the circuit. HFO will be the only race at the event but Red Bull have a whole host of activities planned including attendance of Red Bull Racing with Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

The Red Bull Ring event, together with Paul Ricard and Algarve will feature two HFO races, a sprint race on Saturday and the usual longer race on Sunday.
