Schumi torna in F1!

Sono giorni che lurko senza commentare. Il 2009 ? stato talmente pietoso che non so nemmeno se ho mai scritto qualcosa qui.

Poi ho cliccato su play, visto un paio di video del Kaiser e mi sono venuti i brividi..!

 

Ho tifato Ferrari fino al '94, poi con la morte di Senna e Wendlinger ho mollato e ho cominciato a tifare per gli uomini, sperando in imprese alla Rossi, che ? riuscito in un paio di occasioni a dimostrare la superiorit? dell'uomo rispetto alla macchina.

 

Schumacher ci riusc?, i suoi primi anni in Ferrari, pur senza vincere mondiali furono incredibili e per me i pi? belli.

 

Senna resta per me sempre il pi? grande, ma mi ricordo ancora di quanto gioii di quella prima qualifica incredibile di Schumacher con la Jordan che mi fece pensare "ecco finalmente uno che nei prossimi anni potr? finalmente sfidare Senna alla pari".

 

Gli faccio un grande in bocca al lupo, anche se vedendolo scendere dal mezzo l'ho visto veramente invecchiato, sar? dura!

 

P.S. Se possibile cambiate nome a quella discussione sul paragone Senna-Massa, ? una roba che vorrei non aver mai letto!!

Schumacher admits to neck strain

 

Michael Schumacher admitted he had sore neck muscles after completing his second day of testing in a GP2 car at Jerez.

 

He is taking part in the test as part of his preparations for a return to Formula One next season with Mercedes. On Tuesday Schumacher denied the outing was about his fitness and it has been officially billed as a development test for the 2011 GP2 car.

 

"There is some minor muscular strain, but it's completely normal," he said. "There will be an acclimatisation phase when I sit in the real [F1] car at the beginning of February. In the past I have never managed to be able to train the muscles in the neck so that you feel nothing at all."

 

Schumacher managed to squeeze in 53 laps of testing on slick tyres while the track was dry in the morning. Better weather is forecast for the final day of the test on Thursday.

Si riferiva probabilmente all'incidente nelle prove di Montecarlo in cui si pensava che dovesse morire pure lui

 

Cmq anch'io ritengo che Rosberg avr? qualcosa in pi?, ? un pilota in continua crescita, soprattutto sul giro secco, a differenza di Schumacher che gi? era in fase calante nel 2006, figuriamoci ora...

Michael Schumacher has been bang on the pace during his GP2 test outing at Jerez in Spain this week, Super Nova team boss David Sears has revealed.

 

Ahead of his F1 comeback in 2010, the seven-time champion has been allowed to get vital mileage under his belt in the test that has been billed as a GP2 development run.

 

And although no lap times have been issued from the test, Sears - who has members of his team running Schumacher's car this week - has given away just how quick Schumacher has been - despite the poor weather that has blighted the week.

 

"I would say that with a track that is not completely dry, with the kerbs wet and everything else, to be less than one second off the quickest ever time is pretty handy," Sears said on the main stage at the AUTOSPORT International Show.

 

"It [the test] is ongoing as we speak, and it has been damp for the last couple of days. Michael is going around as we speak, doing long runs and making sure that his neck is standing up - which it is. "

 

Sears also reckons that Schumacher would put some of his rivals to shame this year on his return to F1 - despite being 41.

 

"I think the guy is on such a higher plain in being incredibly physically fit," he said. "Probably Nigel Mansell was the first guy that made sure that racing drivers were incredibly fit because he had broken his neck and his back.

 

"Michael having gone off and stolen our chief mechanic to go and ride motorbikes, I think he fell off a few times and one of those times he landed on his head.

 

"Obviously he damaged a couple of vertebrae there which took a while to mend, and I think when he was asked to deputise for Felipe Massa it wasn't mended at that point.

 

"But now obviously it is - and certainly I would say the guy is fitter, more intelligent and quicker than most of the other drivers. And at 41, he is going to demonstrate that again."
