Probabilmente hanno tappato il buco del fantasma Manor, sperando che Sauber riesca a salvare il salvabile, ci ritroveremo con massimo 26 macchine.

Ah cmq credo che l'elenco dei partecipanti cambier? ancora. Manor in primis e usf1 mi sembrano tutt'altro che solide. N Tecnhology e Epsilon penso possano rientrare, anche perch? la bmw deve prima trovare un compratore. Imho solo nei primi mesi del 2010 sapremo chi sar? al via e chi no.

fra tutte quella pi? solida mi pare proprio la usf1. che fra 'altro era l'unica ad aver annunciato l'ingresso nel 2008 ben prima del famoso screzio. le altre appunto sono tutte saltate fuori ai tempi in cui si parlava della scissione ma non mi paiono proprio solide. ancora non si sa niente.

Per me nel 2010 sar? tanto (grasso che cola ) se vedremo solo USF1, Campos e Lotus come new entry.

Vi dico la mia: ? vero, come si ? detto prima ("SirVanhan"), che la Proton ? da anni proprietaria del marchio "Lotus Cars" per le vetture stradali, ma il nome non pu? essere utilizzato per le vetture da competizione, se non con previo assenso da parte della vedova del figlio di Chapman, Clive.

Il nome di propriet? di Clive ? infatti "Classic Team Lotus Limited" e sarebbe il team che segue e assiste nelle corse storiche i clienti alla guida di vecchie Lotus. La sede ? ancora ad Hethel, lo stesso fondato originariamente dproprio da Clive nel 1994 "to represent the continuing involvement of the Chapman family with the Lotus marque, that is, the company will support owners of single-seater, open wheel Lotuses from the Type 12 to the Type 102".

Colin Chapman aveva fondato la compagnia "Lotus Engineering Ltd".

In definitiva, non mi pare ci sia un coinvolgimento diretto di Clive, cio? magari c'? stato anche, ma ? passato sottobanco... Mi sembra molto molto strano che nessuna fonte news ne abbia parlato, e per giunta neanche il comunicato FIA.

Comunque il massimo di auto ammissibili, attualmente, ? 26. Quindi non ne vedremo 28 (ma 26 sono pi? che sufficienti).

Non capisco da dove nasca questo sospetto sulla USGPE, dal momento che qualcosa si muove dalle loro parti.

Semmai la Manor (i cui dirigenti ha detto Vanzini si sono fatti vedere a Monza e nulla pi?), rimane un'entit? completamente astratta e sono praticamente sicuro che non la vedremo nel 2010.

 

E comunque esigo la meravigliosa livrea nero-oro

Infatti ho detto sembrano tutt'altro che solide, magari lo sono. Nel caso specifico della usf1 ho letto che in Carolina sarebbe tutto in alto mare, poi magari sono voci infondate. Quel che voglio dire ? che prima del Barhain sar? dura avere un'idea chiara di chi garegger? e chi no.

 

Riguardo la sauber, ora che entrano i malesi per Peter si fa dura, visto che cercava sponsor proprio in quel Paese. La petronas per esempio credo si chiamer? fuori.

la livrea nera-oro era dello sponsor principale, la livrea ufficiale dovrebbe essere verde e gialla. Ma molto probabilmente per completare il budget avranno una livrea completamente diversa per accontentare gli sponsor.

Non ? detto che non la ripropongano. La Lotus e gli sponsor sanno che ? un pezzo di storia quella livrea, e che una vettura Lotus cos? avrebbe pi? visibilit? della solita auto bianca e rossa.

BMW finds buyer for Formula 1 team

 

BMW has announced that the Qadbak Investments company has agreed to purchase the Formula 1 team based in Hinwil.

 

The German company had revealed earlier this year that it will quit Formula 1 at the end of the season, and had been in talks with interested parties since then.

 

On Tuesday, BMW said it had signed the contract to sell the team to Qadbak, a Swiss-based foundation which represents the interests of certain Middle East and European-based families.

 

"A strong investor has therefore been found for the Hinwil-based team," BMW said in a statement.

 

"Qadbak's interest in the team will be represented by Lionel Fischer, a Swiss national. BMW wishes Qadbak and the Sauber Team every success for the 2010 season and beyond."

 

The sale of the team coincides with the FIA having announced the 13th entry for the 2010 championship went to the Lotus outfit, with BMW as a possible 14th entry in case a current team fails to race next year.

 

The FIA also said it would talk to the teams about the possibility of increasing the grid size to 28 cars to allow the Hinwil squad to race next year.

Lotus will return to F1 in 2010

 

Lotus are to return to Formula 1 next season for the first time since 1994.

 

The Malaysian-funded outfit have been awarded the final grid spot and join Campos GP, Manor and US F1 as one of four new teams for 2010.

 

The FIA has given current team BMW Sauber "14th place" for next season, meaning they are now first reserves.

 

However, motorsport's governing body says it will "consult urgently" with the 10 existing teams to expand the grid from 13 to 14 teams for 2010.

 

"The FIA believes that a good case can be made for expanding the grid to 14 teams," read an FIA statement released on Tuesday.

 

Moss glad to see return of Lotus

 

"It will be consulting urgently with the existing teams regarding the introduction of an appropriate rule change to expand the grid to 28 cars in time for the first Grand Prix in 2010."

 

The Lotus team will be initially based in Norfolk, though its future design, research and development, manufacturing and technical centre will be purpose built at Malaysia's Sepang International circuit.

 

In its new incarnation the team is a partnership between the Malaysian Government and a consortium of Malaysian entrepreneurs.

 

It will be led by team principal Tony Fernandes, the founder of the Malaysian-based Tune Group, which owns the Air Asia airline.

 

Mike Gascoyne - who has 20 years experience in the sport after working with Jordan, Renault, Toyota, and most recently Force India - returns to F1 as the team's technical director.

 

Lotus has reached an engine supply deal with Cosworth.

 

"The team will announce its two drivers by October 31 2009. Currently six local and international drivers have been selected," said a statement from the Malaysian Government.

 

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak added: "This is not only a dream, it is a reality. Malaysia is part of Formula 1 and we are determined to do our best to make our mark in this arena.

 

"I believe this is a meaningful development that will boost Malaysia's image."

 

Just three hours after the Lotus return was confirmed by the FIA on Tuesday, BMW Sauber revealed Swiss-based Qadbak Investments had agreed to buy its team.

 

The German car manufacturer, which took over Sauber in 2005, had said it would withdraw from F1 at the end of July, citing "current developments in motorsport" as the reason for their decision.

 

BMW was the second major manufacturer to announce it was leaving the sport after Honda's withdrawal eight months earlier.

 

But the FIA said it had received an "impressive application" from the team despite the uncertainties over its future ownership.

 

BMW Sauber's reserve slot means they can fill any vacancy that might occur between now and the start of the 2010 championship.

 

The organisation behind the new Lotus team have bought the rights to the name Team Lotus - which competed in F1 from 1958 through to 1994 - and have been awarded BMW's place, also pushing out Spanish outfit Epsilon Euskadi, following an intensive selection and due diligence process conducted by the FIA.

The team won seven constructors' crowns and six drivers' championships, including wins by Britons Jim Clark and Graham Hill, during their golden era in the 1960s and '70s.

 

Three-time world champion, the late Ayrton Senna, drove for Lotus for three seasons between 1985 and 1987 - although the team enjoyed limited success during that period.

 

Lotus withdrew from F1 in 1994 because of financial pressures but remains the fourth most successful constructor of all time.
