L'Italia ha sempre amato autoflagellarsi e infangare ci? che di bello e buono ha avuto. In altri paesi come Francia o Inghilterra ad esempio, amano la tradizione non gi? come riesumazione di una "salma" ma come perpetuazione di un orgoglio di cui andare fieri. Goodwood ? l'esempio storico dello spirito britannico. Basti guardare il sito ufficiale, pieno zeppo di rievocazioni vintage o pi? semplicemente lo "shop". Gadgets che fanno piacere e che perpetuano la tradizione anche per i pi? giovani. E' bellissimo aggregare generazioni servendosi del passato. Penso sia segno di grande civilt? e cultura.

E’ iniziata l’edizione 2010 del Goodwood Festival of Speed, che festeggia i 60 anni di campionato del mondo di Formula 1 con la partecipazione di diverse squadre presenti nel Circus.

 

Oltre 50 le monoposto in vetrina, per celebrare l’anniversario. La gallery odierna mette in mostra alcuni esemplari impegnati nella prima esibizione sulla pista in collina nella favolosa tenuta di Lord March, in West Sussex (Gran Bretagna). La chiusura delle danze è prevista per domani.
